Lehigh Carbon Community College's Donley Center in Allentown will offer the following short-term day training programs this semester. Interested individuals may qualify for tuition assistance for these programs. All students must meet with program coordinator prior to registration. Students are required to purchase a 128 MB or higher flash drive prior to class. Tuition assistance is available for students who qualify.

The Computerized Bookkeeping Diploma Program includes solid coverage of accounting concepts and principles used in manual and computerized bookkeeping. Knowledge of QuickBooks software, payroll computation, tax reporting, accounts receivable and payable are covered, as well as learning keyboarding, spreadsheet and customer service skills. Students completing this 100-hour program will be prepared to seek entry level employment in bookkeeping. This program runs from Mar. 10 through April 7, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Fee for the course is $525 and course number is BSN 500-52.

Medical Office/Insurance Claims Processing Diploma Program trains student in medical terminology, electronic billing and customer service skills. Learn to operate office machines and develop computer skills, as well as become CPR certified. Classes will be held Mon. through Fri., 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Mar. 24 through June 13. Course number is OFF 810-53 and fee is $1,267.25.
