The Teacher Education department at Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC), in conjunction with the college's Foundation, will hold a series of Saturday workshops as part of its 2007-2008 Early Childhood Education offerings. Each workshop in the Instructional Strategies Series is held from 9-11 a.m. at the college's main campus, Route 309, Schnecksville, and meets DPW, Act 48, and Keystone Stars requirements. All proceeds from this fundraising effort benefit the Teacher Education Resource Fund.
Happy, Healthy Me! will be held Sat., Feb. 2. Learn about activities that will guide young children in discovering how their bodies work as well as how to keep them healthy and safe. Preschool, kindergarten, and school-age educators are encouraged to attend. Course number is CAR 352-50; fee is $15. Instructional materials will be provided (laminating fees are extra).
