The Teacher Education department at Lehigh Carbon Community College(LCCC), in conjunction with the college's Foundation, will hold aseries of Saturday workshops as part of its 2007-2008 Early ChildhoodEducation offerings. Each workshop in the Instructional Strategies Series isheld from 9-11 a.m. at the college's main campus, Route 309,Schnecksville, and meets DPW, Act 48, and Keystone Stars requirements.All proceeds from this fundraising effort benefit the Teacher EducationResource Fund.
Montessori on a Budget will be held Sat., Dec. 1. Createquality Montessori materials for all areas of the curriculum at lowcost. Preschool, kindergarten, and school-age educators are encouragedto attend. Course number is CAR 349-10; fee is $15. Instructional materials will be provided (laminating fees are extra).
