Lehigh Carbon Community College will offer the following continuingeducation course this semester. Class will be held at LCCC's maincampus in Schnecksville.

Phlebotomy I: Classroom Training will be held Weds., Feb. 6 - May 14 (no class

Mar. 12), from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. The course teaches procedures fordrawing blood, collection and transportation procedures for specimens,and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standards and exposure follow-upprocedures. Medical Terminology or equivalent is a prerequisite. Cost is $275 (text additional); materials fee is $25; course number is HEA 515-50.

Phlebotomy Clinicals are available for those who havesuccessfully passed the classroom training portion and will be held ata location of the student's choice.
