"Thinking Thin" by Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) graduate Brenda R. Vogelsinger, of Allentown, will be published in Nota Bene,the literary anthology of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK). Vogelsinger is amongonly 20 PTK members whose works were selected from more than 1,000submissions.
Vogelsinger graduated from LCCC in spring 2007 with a Business Administration Associate in Arts degree.
Headquartered in Jackson, Miss., PTK is the international honorsociety of two-year and community colleges. It boasts 1,200 chapters inthe United States, Canada, Germany, the Republic of Palau, the Republicof the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, theBritish Virgin Islands, the United Arab Emirates, and U.S. territories.
Nota Bene was founded in 1994 to showcase good writing amongcommunity college students. Copies are distributed to community collegelibraries and PTK leaders.
