Middle States Self-Study

Update

Fall 2007

Lehigh Carbon Community College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Every ten years the college is asked to conduct a self-study examining our compliance with standards expected of colleges and universities. In spring, 2008 a team of educational leaders from the eastern part of the United States will visit the campus, evaluate our self-study document and offer commendations and recommendations. Based on that report the Middle States Commission will move to re-accredit LCCC.

A draftself-study document has been written and input is being solicited from all the constituents and stake holders of the college. Copies are available for public perusal in the library on the main campus and at all the sites. Comments can be written on the documents. Faculty, staff and administration can download a copy at the secure PAIR webpage.

Below is listed the current timetable leading to the April, 2008 site visit and a summary of the chapters of the self-study.
