Job Title: Director of Professional Accreditation and Curriculum
Work Schedule: Full-time
Annual Salary: $47,667 - $64,033
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary
Responsible for coordination and support for programs establishing and/or maintaining professional accreditation. Manages curriculum development for new credit courses and programs and oversees maintenance of standards related to current credit courses and programs. Directly responsible to the Associate Dean of Institutional Research and Effectiveness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited college or university required. Administrative experience in a leadership role required, preferably at the two year college level. Possess a strong understanding of and commitment to the mission and philosophy of the comprehensive community college. Ability to provide academic leadership and to be a team member in a dynamic environment required. High level of communication, listening skills and problem solving required. Ability to work with faculty within a participatory model of management. Experience in accreditation, course/program development and articulation agreements. Possess a commitment to student learning, academic assessment and career preparation. Sensitive and responsive to changing community needs. Ability to work in a collective bargaining setting. Must possess a high level of the following work skills and behaviors: teamwork/cooperation, initiative, customer service, and commitment to continuous professional growth in skills and knowledge.
